		STIPENDIENPREIS by Internationales Musikinstitut Darmstadt
		On July 31:st Malin Bång was awarded the Stipendienpreis in Composition
		during the final concert of the 45:th Internationalen Ferienkursen für
		Neue Musik 2010. During the upcoming festival in 2012 there will as a
		result be a premiere of a new work by Malin Bång.

		STAUBACH HONORARIA
		Malin Bång has been awarded the composition prize Staubach Honoraria
		by the Internationales Musikinstitut Darmstadt.
		The award includes a residency at the upcoming Ferienkurse für Neue
		Musik, as well as a commission for Belgian Nadar Ensemble , who will
		premiere the new work at the festival in Darmstadt. more info

		ENSEMBLE ALEPH: FORUM NO 6
		Malin Bång has been selected to the 6th International Forum for
		Young Composers by Ensemble Aleph, France. She is invited to a
		residency together with the ensemble at Moulin d'Andé in April 2010.
		As a result Ensemble Aleph performs Faces and Moon Splinters at
		Theatre Dunois in Paris and in six other European cities and a logbook
		with texts on the piece will be presented. more info

		WITTENER TAGE FÜR NEUE KAMMERMUSIK
		Malin Bång is currently finishing her work epic abrasion for ensemble
		recherche. epic abrasion was commissioned by Westdeutschen Rundfunk
		and will be premiered during the Wittener Tage, April 23rd - 25th.

	20 MAR	KØBENHAVNS MUSIKTEATER/COPENHAGEN/DENMARK
	20.00	The new chamber opera 4 vinkler på Medea is premiered by
		performance group Figura with four voices, clarinet, percussion,
		contrabass and electronics. Malin Bång has composed act 3, consisting
		of the scenes En Anden Frihed and Aesons foryngelse. Libretto by Peter
		Laugesen. Other acts are composed by Henrik Hellstenius (NO),
		Steingrimur Rohloff (IS) and Nicolai Worsaae (DK).

	- 13 APR	Malin Bång is a resident composer at Moulin D'Andé for the
		6th International Forum for Young Composers together with
		Ensemble Aleph. The residency will contain rehearsals of
	faces and moon splinters (the new version including trumpet),
	interviews for the upcoming logbook, a seminar on Malin Bång's
	works, as well as a studio recording of faces and moon splinters.

2010	KammarensembleN: Komponerade Rum
autumn	A work for saxophonist Jörgen Pettersson, trombonist Ivo Nilsson,
	percussionists Niklas Brommare and Jonny Axelsson, pianist Anders
	Kihlström, accordeonist Anita Agnas, contrabassist Staffan Sjöholm,
	and conductor Franck Ollu in interaction with a room.



2010	Curious Chamber Players: Nordic Darkness and Light
autumn	As part of her composition residency with Curious Chamber Players,
	a new work by Malin Bång is commissioned, to reflect on the specific
	conditions of darkness and light in the Nordic countries. The two other
	composers participating in the project are Mauricio Rodriguez and
	Arturo Fuentes from Mexico.


2010	Anna Petrini: Paetzold contrabass recorder
winter	A new work for solo amplified Paetzold contrabass recorder,
	for Swedish recorder player Anna Petrini.

2011	Richard Craig: bass flute and sound objects
spring	A duo new work for bass flute and sound objects in collaboration
	with Scottish flutist Richard Craig.
