		Berliner Künstlerprogramm des DAAD
		Malin Bång is invited by the DAAD to the 2012 Berliner Künstlerprogramm, one of the
		most sought-after scholarships in the world. The invitation includes a grant and a one
		year residency in Berlin, as well as public performances of Malin Bång's works.
		"Berliner Künstlerprogramm has defined itself as a forum for artistic dialogue which
		extends beyond cultural, geographical and, certainly, beyond political borders. This
		forum is effective and vigorous not only through the work and presence of the artists
		living in the city, but also through the approximately 100 Veranstaltungen each year
		which the Berliner Künstlerprogramm hosts i conjunction with its guest in Berlin and

		Donaueschinger Musiktage 2012 - Ensemble Nikel
		Donaueschinger Musiktage commissions a new work for Ensemble Nikel
		consisting of Gan Lev - saxophones, Yaron Deutsch - electric guitar, Tom De Cock -
		percussion, Reto Staub - piano and Eran Borovich - contrabass. "Presenting musicians
		from Tel Aviv, Brussels and Zürich the group displays a new contemporary chamber
		music sound in which the obstacle of melting electric and acoustic instrument into a
		unified musical organsim is constanty tackled." Ensemble Nikel
		World premiere during the Donaueschinger Musiktage in October 1012.
		Impuls Festival 2013 - Klangforum Wien
		In the Impuls Composition Competition Malin Bång has been selected as one of
		four composers. As a result the Impuls Festival commissions a new work by her, which
		will be premiered by Klangforum Wien during the Impuls Festival in 2013.

		Darmstadt Festival 2012 - Curious Chamber Players
		As Stipendiat of the Darmstadt Ferienkurse Malin Bång will compose a commissioned
		work for Curious Chamber Players, which will performed during the concert of the
		ensemble in the Darmstadt Festival in July 2012.

		Malin Bång has started a collaboration with Paris based internet publisher Babelscores.
		The Babelscores site is constructed to serve the needs of today's international music
		life, with easy acces to all scores, including full length recordings, preview options
		and immediate downloads of scores at affordable prices.

		CD releases
		Recordings of Malin Bång's works are availabe on several recent and upcoming CD
		releases. In November 2010 Twilight Collider for flute/bass flute and electronics,
		performed by German flutist Sabine Vogel, was released at Media Artes' CD
		titled SPANNING.
		In March the portait CD Inwards by flutist Richard Craig includes Alpha Waves for
		alto flute. The disc is released by record label Métier.
		During 2011 three CD:s featuring Malin Bång's music is released by dB Productions:
		January 31:st, FabLab interpreting Coin and Cloth for solo guitar, in the autumn
		contrabass recorder player Anna Petrini's solo CD with Malin Bång's New Work as
		well as Curious Chamber Players debut CD including the prize-winning ensemble
		work Turbid Motion.
